Our Story
How It All Began
Senseful Crafts was born from a deeply personal journey — a desire to slow down and find peace amidst the relentless pace of modern life.
The turning point came through the simplest of things. A smooth palm stone held in the hand. A hand-poured candle casting a quiet glow. Objects that, in their stillness, had the power to ground and restore. That discovery became a calling.
What began as earlier ventures — Eden of Frodo & Elvis, and Within Senses — evolved and deepened over time. In 2024, Senseful Crafts was re-launched from Singapore, not just as a brand, but as a fuller expression of mindful living. A space where handcrafted candles, crystals, malas, journals, and wellness tools come together — each made with intention, each an invitation to pause.

Every Senseful Crafts candle is hand-poured in small batches by Esther — our founder, maker, and the heart behind everything we create. We don't outsource. We don't rush. Each piece leaves our hands with care and intention.
We use only pure plant waxes — soy and coconut — not because it's trendy, but because Esther made the switch over a decade ago for her own health, and never looked back. Every ingredient is chosen with your wellbeing and the environment in mind.
What truly sets us apart is our Wisdom Gem philosophy. Each candle comes with a handpicked inspirational quote and a personal write-up by Esther — a little moment of reflection tucked into every burn. Because we believe a candle should do more than light a room. It should lift your spirit too.
We're a Singapore-born brand, rooted in community — you'll find us at local pop-ups and markets, and we love meeting our customers face to face.

I don't make products. I make objects that I hope will do something for you.
Hi, I'm Esther, the founder and maker behind Senseful Crafts. I am a candle designer, crafter, and creator of the signature "Wisdom Gem" candles. As a Meditation Coach, Reiki Master, Ayurvedic Life-Style Consultant, and practitioner of Yoga, Qigong, and Zen Traditions, I bring deep knowledge and understanding of mindful living practices to everything I create and curate.
This background allows me to ensure that every product at Senseful Crafts is truly aligned with the principles of mindful living. I personally take charge of everything — from hand-pouring each candle in small batches to carefully curating palm stones, selecting journals and planners, and choosing every product in our collection.
I believe in the power of slow, intentional creation. Rather than mass production, I craft and curate items with care and attention to quality — so that every piece that leaves Senseful Crafts carries meaning for your wellbeing.
