Years ago, I discovered a wonderful candle supplier in the USA whose products I loved. Pure, thoughtfully made, aligned with my values. When I decided to restart Senseful Crafts, she was my first call. But time had changed things — she had downscaled and was no longer shipping overseas. That door had quietly closed.

So I reached out to other suppliers. Most didn't reply. One told me bluntly that my business was "too new" and that I needed to grow my Instagram following before he would even consider whether I was worthy to carry his products.

I kept searching.

Another supplier was willing to work with me — but only if I accepted beeswax and synthetic chemicals in the blend. I said no. He told me that's just how it is now, that pure plant wax candles were a thing of the past.

I didn't accept that.

I knew it was possible. I had seen it done. So instead of compromising, I went back to the source — researching, testing, and learning to make candles myself. Sourcing every ingredient with intention. Ensuring that what goes into every Senseful Crafts candle is purely plant wax, and nothing else.

No beeswax. No synthetic chemicals. No shortcuts.
